Mfantseman Pastors' Association Debunks Allegations Leveled Against Oman Bofuor

The Mfantseman Pastors' Association has debunked the allegations leveled against Pastor Stephen Dickbeiring popularly known in the area as Prophet Dr. Oman Bofuor, the General Overseer of Prophetic Methodist Ministry who doubles as the President of the Association.

The Association emphasized that, the key suspect Pastor who has been allegedly killed and burried a 25-year-old aspiring trainee nurse in a Chief's room at Mankessim in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region and Tufuhen of Ekumfi Akwakrom, Nana Clark shouldn't be spelt if found guilty.

Addressing the media, the President of the Mfantseman Pastors' Association, Pastor Stephen Dickbeiring noted that, since the incident happened, many people have suspected him and other colleagues in Mankessim; he want to state it categorically that he the Bishop Stephen Dickbeiring popularly known as the Oman Bofuor in the area is innocent about the murdering case.

The Founder and Leader of the Prophetic Methodist Ministry then called on the Ghana Police Service led by the Inspector General of Police Dr. George Akuffo Dampare to do a massive investigation to the matter.

He stressed that, they do not recognize the so-called alleged Pastor as a member of the association and have not seen/heard any of its members involved in such incident, adding that it clear that none of it's members will do that.

According to them, all their checks has revealed that the victim is not from the area.

According to the Association President, no Pastor in Mankessim has been arrested  for the acts hence called on the general public to disregard the fact that the alleged Pastor hails from Mankessim. They added that the victim is not known to any of the Chiefs in the Mankessim Traditional Council.

Meanwhile, the Central Regional Regional Police Command have arrested the suspect Chief.

The Chief has been sent to the Cape Coast Police Station for future investigation and the Police are yet to come out with their response to the escalated issue.
